Seasonal Scent Your Home with The Best Autumnal Candles

Autumn is arguably everybody's favourite time of year for investing in good home fragrance (us included!). Colder evenings, cosy blankets and Harry Potter marathons... not to mention Halloween, Bonfire Night and Christmas all starting to loom means that we want the comfiest and cosiest aromas eminating throughout our home day and night.

What is the best autumnal candle for this time of year?

We currently have 2 limited edition candles within our Autumn range. Pumpkin Spice and Autumn Nights. We love both, for different reasons, and they both create a slightly different autumnal atmosphere. Our Pumpkin Spice candle is perfect if you like sweeter and softer fragrances with notes of cinnamon and clove. Our Autumn Nights candle is a sexier more masculine Autumn fragrance and contains spicer notes like frankinsense and cedarwood.

When to choose a candle over a wax melt?

A question we get asked from time to time, and honestly it is all down to personal preference! We would go for a candle over a wax melt on a special Friday night when we've got a glass of wine on the go and want to create more of a cosy autumnal atmosphere.

Candles are also a bit more of a special gift if you are treating your loved one over the autumnal months. A wax melt is a great option if you scent your home a lot as they are more affordable in regards to overall burn time and can be stronger in fragrance so you may want it lit for an hour and then blow it out, whereas a candle can give a softer fragrance throw but can be lit all evening to give a continous flow of scent.
